The service was expected to be completed within one day. I received a call at 2 om stating it may not be but I would get a call back at end of day to confirm. I never received a call and when I called back, service was closed. The car was not ready until the next day.

We bought the Trail Blazer one year ago. This recent service visit is the first of two FREE service visits. They changed the oil and filter along with rotating the tires. The invoice showed that they did many safety checks. I was worried about how much they were going to upsell for other items but there was none of that. I couldn't be happier about the experience.

not happy at all. On my last service my tires were supposed to be rotated along with oil change. This time for my service they wanted a key for the lug locks. I told them i never had a key even though i bought the car new. i said if its going to be problem don't rotate the tires. The service guy said ok no problem. I want to know how they rotated my tires the first time without a key or did they really rotate them at all and charged me for it. This time they busted the locking lugs off and told me they ordered me a new set.REALLY? What kind of service is this? So I paid all that money for someone to damage my car when I said if its a problem don"t rotate them. They asked if it was ok to do that but went ahead and did it anyway.Very disappointed. I"m sorry I went to Barlow Chevy

I was very disappointed in the Service received. The issue I paid to fix was not the issue that my car had and paid $2000 and what the car needed was probably a couple hundred dollars to fix. I was not offered a loaner and my car was there for almost a month nor offered an apology or any kind of compens

So far, I am EXTREMELY pleased with Barlow Chevrolet, both sales and service. I bought a 2025 Trax from Barlow after having a difficult time with the sales department of our more local Chevrolet dealership. Before this service, all previous service appointments have been completed at the local Chevrolet dealership. (The last service appointment did not go well.) Our 2019 Malibu will soon be due for a 30,000 mile service which I am seriously considering being completed by Barlow.

Unfortunately this service was due to an unexpected emergency breakdown of my truck. I had it towed in without an appointment. My service advisor Sam explained that there was no openings for an emergency but one was available 9 days later. She did say that if one came available she would try to get it in. The following week Sam was on vacation and another advisor was my contact. I was told they would try to get it in but my appointment was on the 11th. When the truck was finally in and diagnosed, the tech Jeff was outstanding in his explanation of the problem and going over the truck for all of my concerns. He made sure I understood everything and did what needed to put the truck back on the road safe for my wife to drive. Sam returned from vacation and immediately got in touch with me regarding the status of the repairs and warranty coverage. Her genuine interest in resolving the issue was a very pleasant experience. After picking up the truck, I spoke to Tracy and addressed the appointment issue. Tracy went out of her way to take the time to listen and assured me that those concerns would be addressed. My overall experience during this service was outstanding by the 3 people who made it that way. Thank you to Tracy, Sam and Jeff for treating me as something other than a number. I will be recommending Barlow service to anyone who asks a great place to service their vehicles.

Found a truck I liked on internet, spoke with internet rep and advised I was looking at same truck elsewhere and already had a pretty good price worked out and would buy from dealership that gave the best price. Was contacted by Ed Barlow he matched the price and threw in a center console safe and ceramic coating. Needed a ride to dealership which was 40 months away and they sent a driver to pick me up. Work not completed. Trouble with defective lock in trunk. New lock on order will be back to finish job, but maintenance work with oil change and tire rotation completed. Total bill over $400.00 and new lock will be $250.00 more. How about a Senior citizen discount? I have always kept my cars in good repair and good maintainance but it is getting more difficult as I age and my car is a 2011 Malibu. We are both getting old! But one thing never changes, and that is the wonderful employees, and service Barlow gives to its clients. Even the transport person who took 3 of us to our homes was delightful! It was a tour guides delight! Thank him for his service too!

9-29-25 Went in & had a Car Battery installed, (first one for my Malibu). Then my Shift to Park msg came back on again. Back iin 2023 had the switch & harness replaced. This time A brand New Shifter installed. (Did 10 14-25) However when I picked up my car, the check Engine light came on and went right back into the shop. Apparently, there was a code, but it disappeared. So, I had to bring the car back and this time I had Throttle body work done and a new Filter. (10-15-25) Needless to say, I did not expect this much work on the car Hopefully no more issues till I need my oil change in January. I need a couple freebies….

Warnings (idiot light) appeared on my dash. I stopped at the dealership to show the lights and a OBDII diagnostics scan confirmed the error codes. An appointment was scheduled for repair the following week. My vehicle was at the dealership for 5 days, I did bring it home over the weekend, but it was 5 days in the shop. A loaner car was not available, so I had to make transportation arrangements with family and friends. I was not told how long it would take. The first day I was not notified the repair was not complete and when I called at 1650 the shop was closed for the day. Status updates on subsequent days was intermittent. A fix was not currently available, it was being worked by the engineers at GM. I was told the car was safe to drive and it was returned to me. I have not recieved an update since and the vehicle has not been repaired.

I can’t say enough good things about the excellence of everyone in the Service Department. I was on the road, my tire pressure was rapidly dropping, called and they were able to get me in upon my arrival. The next day took me right in to put the new tire in. I came in on Wednesday, October 22nd & Frank was my salesman. He was able to get the Chevy Trax I requested in gray & we discussed price & settled on a firm price. We came back in on Thursday to purchase & I had all my checks ready to pay in cash & was told that Frank made a mistake on the price & it was another $1.000. I told him that no, I did not agree & you need to honor the price you quoted. After going back & forth & almost leaving, the manager agreed to the price. That was frustrating to say the least. In the end it all worked out & Frank has called me numerous times to see how I like the car & if I was able to have all the apps downloaded, so I appreciate that. Overall all went well & im pleased with the car.

I don't know where to start. First of all, once my vehicle was initially repaired, I noticed body damage I was asked to bring it in for repairs. After 2 weeks, I called and was told it had been started but not complete, which was not true because I stopped by the dealer and the body damage was still on the vehicle. After 3 weeks, I insisted on my vehicle be returned and I would get it fixed elsewhere at that point. No one contacted me and a few days later when I called, the body damage was partially repaired. The other paint damage I had repaired elsewhere on my own. There were a few other things Involving the shuttle driver and picking up my vehicle. that left a bitter taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. Thank you for listening.

This was a follow-up appointment scheduled by the dealership because the issue from my previous service visit remained unresolved. The problem required GM engineers to develop a software fix due to a communication issue that prevented GM diagnostic tools from connecting to the vehicle, but though third-party tools could communicate. Unfortunately, the GM engineer originally assigned to the case left the company and deleted related files, which delayed resolution. During my first service appointment, the dealership had my vehicle for five days but was unable to complete the repair, and no courtesy or loaner vehicle was provided. For the follow-up visit, the dealership scheduled the appointment and confirmed that a loaner car would be available. However, when I arrived, none were available, and I had to arrange my own transportation. I was offered a loaner later that afternoon, but by that time it was impractical to return before the dealership closed. Despite assurances that the repair would be completed the next morning, the issue remained unresolved after three days, and I picked up my vehicle still not repaired. The service representatives have followed up with status updates, but no repair solution or timeline has yet been identified. Overall, this experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing, particularly given the repeated inconvenience and continued lack of resolution.

I had an appt scheduled for maintenance on Friday the 19th. On Tuesday the 16th I woke up to a dead battery on my 2021 Chevy Blazer. It was 21 degrees at 6:00am. My neighbor jumped my battery and told me to go to the auto parts store. The first one I went to said they only had 1 employee so they couldn't help me. I drove to the next parts store and they informed me only the dealership could change the battery. I was so stressed because I know the dealership was booked and wouldn't be able to help me. I literally was in tears, but I pulled into the bay and Mike told me to relax and he would get me taken care of. He looked up and saw that I had an appt for maintenance later that week. He told me they would take care of the battery, my oil change and 20,000-mile maintenance. He said they would shuttle me to work and pick me up when it was done. Not only did they get everything done but it took just maybe 2 hours. Dan was my friendly shuttle driver getting my walker in and out of the car for me. Made sure I was safely inside work before pulling away and pulled my car into the bay for me when it was done. I literally felt like royalty. What started out as a VERY stressful morning turned into a very pleasant day. Mike truly is a saint. Your team clearly made me a priority from the office to the mechanics. Starting with the good: the Sales Manager was pleasant at all X throughout an extensive negotiation process. The rest is not so good: despite my lifetime of Chevy loyalty and the fact I was a repeat new car leasing customer at this Dealership I was given no benefit of that loyalty in any way by the Dealership (tho the Sales Manager emphatically stated "we gave you $200 on Trade Equity" So what. Nothing more). I returned a 2022 Malibu with 4,900 miles on it, perfect condition, which Barlow purchased for sale from GM Financial and will make a fortune on; Chevy doesn't even make sedans now). I was straight with Barlow at all X and held off 2 other Chevy dealers who persistently wanted me to show them what Barlow had offered (and how the bottom line was determined) but for some misguided reason I wanted to remain loyal to Barlow; not reciprocated in the slightest. I am being congratulated on my new Leased car by friends,but all the joy was gone by the X I drove it home. While the Salesperson (not the Sales Manager) who apparently got credit for this "deal" was mostly pleasant and professional right up until the papers were signed by me, two days later when I called with an important minor issue he picked up, said he's with a customer, I asked him to call back to discuss..he did not do so, I had to call him again. I guess no need to be pleasant or responsive at that point, right? I reluctantly gave Barlow 2 Stars because of the pleasantness--but unwavering reluctance to extend any real benefit (oh he said I "get one car wash") of the sales manager and the nice look of the new vehicle--but walked away knowing they read me correctly as not actually dealing with other dealerships. They had me, they knew it, so good for them. Assuming you wanted a 100% honest response and there it is. But no, I do not feel good about "my experience" in any way. Happy New Year.

Bought truck 2 months ago and already having issues with it. I Took it in for service thinking I would get a loaner vehicle like I was told when I purchased but was told there's none available. Going on 4 days without a vehicle and keep getting told tomorrow, tomorrow.. why have a contract if you dont follow it. Completely unacceptable action on your behalf and horrible experience all around.

After completing the service on my vehicle they returned it with a broken engine piece that was not broken when it initially went in. The broken piece is the result of negligence on the mechanics part when putting my car back together. When I called to report it the next day I was asked to bring it in which is a huge inconvenience. I was told by the service rep to email her a picture.I emailed the picture and she replied via email that she would show it to the manager. It has been over a week since I sent them the pictures and they still have not rectify the situation. This was also not the first time I had a repair done at the dealership and my car was returned damaged or not completely put back together resulting in having to bring it back multiple times which again is a huge inconvenience.

Great experience with Tracey, Mario, Scott, and Dan. I had a very complex case and they all worked together to still give me reasonable offers and different options as far as what I was eligible for. Most importantly they were able to handle 98% remotely for me as I work in a hospital far from this specific dealership. Request for an estimate for future service was not provided as requested at the service counter when dropping my car off. Specifically repair of moon roof interior shade which either broke or jumped off it’s track. It was explained that it depends on whether it is broken or just off it’s track. Since we have utilized the moon roof only about a dozen times in the 6 years we have had this car, this response is needed. Why wasn’t an estimate provided for both scenario? Instead no estimate was provided. I have a appointment in April to correct this issue however I will not secure any repairs unless I receive some type of estimate up front. I just need to know if whether I can afford this repair. note I have never had an issue with this type of request from any other dealership I have done business with. I’m already upset that this breakdown occurred due to infrequent use of the moon roof.

The whole trade-in process ran smoothly from beginning to end. (My sincere thanks to the tech-savvy employee who helped me when I had trouble accessing my MyChevy account so I was able to get the new vehicle properly registered and the old vehicle removed.) All the necessary paper-work steps were completed in an efficient and timely manner. The new vehicle was presented to me in immaculate condition (compliments to the detailer). My sales consultant provided assistance to me with setting up the new vehicle with On-Star, etc. and fully explaning the instrument panel. I have been a customer of Barlow since 2010 and will remain so.

I dropped my car off on a Monday night for a scheduled appt at 8am Tuesday. My vehicle was there for 3 days. Two of the days I had to call to get an update. On Thursday at 450pm I was placed on hold and then was told they hooked my car up to get the error codes and I was informed what the codes were at that time. No work over those 3 full days was done on my vehicle. I was told they would give me an estimate by 10am on Friday. 3 full days to have my vehicle and have done zero work on it is unacceptable. I bought my vehicle from Barlow and only brought it because I thought the error messages of my liftgate not working would have been covered under warranty. My warranty had expired. I would not have brought it to Barlow if I knew it would not be covered under warranty. I had an oil change done there in the past and noticed that my vehicle was leaking oil. I brought it back in and the technician had not put the dip stick back in properly which caused oil to spill onto my new driveway. I am not pleased with my experience at all. To keep a vehicle for 3 days and do absolutely zero work on it is unacceptable. Thankfully I did not have a need for a vehicle during this time but to just assume someone doesn't need a vehicle for 3 full days in ridiculous. I will not be returning to Barlow for service.

When I arrived to drop my car off I did not have to wait for someone to wait on me. One of the mechanics took my car for a ride, with me in it, because of what I was feeling/hearing when applying the brakes with the engine and accelerating, sluggish. The mechanic explained exactly what is was. With that I only needed to have my oil changed and have it checked over. I was able to have their shuttle/driver pick me up to get my car.
